Grass Roots Fund Raising
for the Small Not-For-Profit

87% of all charitable dollars come from individual donors rather than from foundations and corporations. This seminar will include basic principles of working with individual donors; ie identification, nurture, the asking and up-grading. We will talk about mail and phone solicitation, and organizing special events for the best cost/benefit ratio. Finally, we will speak to finding and soliciting major donors and ways to motivate board members to raise money.

Cost: $65 ($50 for others from same organization)

Lunch is not included but will be found in local restaurants
All materials are provided with 25 pages of handouts
Who should participate: Anyone involved with fund raising/stewardship in not-for-profit organizations or local congregations who wants to understand the dynamics of personal donor solicitation (ie.: fund raisers, directors, pastors, stewardship committee members and office personnel responsible for maintaining data bases and organizing mailings. Cancellation Policy: The registration fee is 100% refundable to within a week of the event. Cancellation within one week of the event will incur a $25 fee.
